time:matters, a specialist in expedited logistics, has expanded its Sameday Air network to include Aberdeen Airport in Scotland. The addition brings to 104 the total number of stations in the company's service area for the movement of urgent and complex shipments. Aberdeen, the 10th time:matters SameDay air station in the U.K., represents a focus by the company on the oil industry in the North Sea region, according to chief executive officer Franz-Joseph Miller. It will serve customers from the oil and gas, ship spares and maritime industries, offering a link for their time-critical shipments to the international hub at Frankfurt, Germany. time:matters operates an international network of more than 500 exclusive transportation partners, with access to more than 3,000 flights per day, to some 500 destinations in 90 countries. The company operates its own terminal for express and courier shipments at Frankfurt Airport.
