To do this, DHL utilized sophisticated order management and fulfillment systems and processes, integrated route and shipment planning, and delivery service excellence.
Results: The partnership between the client and DHL Supply Chain established an integrated supply chain solution that reduced overall supply chain costs and increased service levels. Client was able to outperform expectations in 42 categories including inbound, outbound, picking and shipping within 45 days of operations and achieved 100 percent of 2010 World Cup marketing initiatives.
