It appears the business intelligence field still suffers from information overload and is looking for a way to be better used within business. Last year, embedded/pervasive BI and 'BI for the masses' were common. This year, the BI community is looking for links to content search and business process management. However, one area that is a perfect match for BI is complex event processing.
