Choice Logistics and TrafficCast International have released TravelZone, a data-filtering application which provides in-transit advisories and performance measurements for critical logistics shipments. Choice is a provider of same-day service, with an emphasis on spare parts stocking and delivery. TrafficCast develops digital data and software for traffic-information services. The jointly offered TravelZone provides real-time advisories to dispatch controllers and shipment recipients. It is designed to mitigate the impact of traffic on transit times, the partners said. TrafficCast contributes its expertise in traffic data aggregation, analysis and travel-time forecasts. Choice has more than 300 strategic stocking locations around the world, offering inventory management and two- to four-hour delivery of parts to high-tech clients.
