Solution: Our client added a proprietary software system, developed in collaboration with experts from Psion, in-house resources and third-party development companies. A high-security WiFi network was installed in the transit warehouse, and Psion 7535 handheld computers were introduced for mobile scanning of barcode labels. The scanned information is uploaded from the handheld to the WMS system via the WiFi network in real time.
Results: After implementation, our client was able to ensure security and accuracy of its operations, improve productivity and enhance customer satisfaction and trust. That's Ingenuity at Work from Psion.
