Results: As a result, our client experienced a 20 percent increase in productivity, reduced one-third of its daily fork lift trips, and decreased on-hand inventory from local suppliers resulting in a $750,000 savings in inventory carrying costs. In addition, our client improved utilization of floor space, gained better visibility of plant floor demand, and nearly eliminated downtime due to parts shortages.
