Emirates SkyCargo says a new contract ensures that Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) will continue providing the Dubai-based carrier cargo and ground handling services for the next five years at the Frankfurt airport. Emirates SkyCargo, said to be the second-largest customer of the cargo handling company, recorded huge business at the German airport last year. In 2006, Emirates reportedly achieved the second highest-increase in cargo tonnage among the 60 airlines handled by FCS.
"We are looking forward to continuing the successful partnership with FCS for another five years," says Reinhard Coldewe, the airline's cargo manager for Germany.
