Ozburn-Hessey Logistics has opened two new operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, a distribution facility and a new international station. With the addition of the distribution facility, OH Logistics now operates four contract warehousing facilities in Dallas, bringing the 3PL's total distribution space in North Texas to almost one million square feet. The new international station is operated by Barthco International division of OH Logistics. The station will provide domestic and international airfreight, ocean transportation, customs brokerage and trade consulting services in North Texas.
"OH Logistics has experienced significant growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth market," says Randall Coleman, senior vice president for the 3PL. "We continue to pursue substantial opportunities in the area and have invested in the capital and people to support that growth. Having the new international station close to our distribution centers is very cost effective for our clients."
The international station, near DFW International Airport, offers a full range of international services to the growing North Texas market. "Our initial approach will focus on air freight for the DFW Metroplex as well as other North Texas shippers," says Tim Kolkmeyer, station manager. "Companies with major operations in textiles, high-tech and retail are headquartered here and we look forward to developing partnerships with them and earning their business."
