UPS has launched UPS Express Critical, a suite of services that incorporates all of the company's same-day and urgent delivery capabilities, both for packages and heavy freight. The move gives customers a single point of contact regardless of package size, weight, mode of transportation, and domestic or international designation. All urgent shipments can now be manifested and tracked through the same website, with one bill and customer support from a single call center. In the process, UPS marries the capabilities of its UPS SonicAir, UPS Airlines and UPS Freight divisions. The company claims access "to virtually any type of aircraft or vehicle around the world." With simplified billing, shippers can now bill freight shipments on their package accounts.
