The freight forwarder said it chose Rotterdam for its "strategic location," and role as a key hub for imports and exports on the European continent. C.H. Robinson has 34 offices in Europe, some with a presence in refrigerated transportation. However, the Rotterdam location is the company's first in Europe specifically to focus on the service. During its first phase of operation, the Rotterdam office will handle agricultural full-truckload movements, while assisting the C.H. Robinson Europe network in other related verticals within the temperature-controlled environment, the company said.
