Saia, the provider of regional and inter-regional less-than-truckload (LTL) services in 34 states, has relocated its terminal in Houston, TX. The newly built facility covers 37 acres, increasing the number of doors from 108 to 158. It provides next-day service to most of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi, as well as all of Louisiana. Next-day delivery from Houston also covers points in New Mexico, Tennessee and Alabama. All employees have been relocated to the new facility, Saia said. The terminal manager is Don Langford. Saia's products include Xtreme Guarantee, which covers every step of LTL service from pickup through invoicing. Overseeing a network of 151 terminals, Saia offers complete North American coverage through its various partner agreements.
