Solution: The upgraded relationship was tested when one of the food distributors products a jarred sauce was printed with incorrect barcodes. Mislabeled products were returned to PJL, arriving shrink-wrapped in 12-pack trays. The large amount of returned product and limited time to re-label and re-ship called for above-and-beyond client servicing and creative problem-solving.

Results: PJL utilized extra resources to open trays, place correctly barcoded labels on jars, re-shrinkwrap trays, and repack trays into cases. PJL also obtained product-specific boxes each requiring new labels and ink-jet date codes because many trays were returned without master case boxes. PJL completed this solve in a timely, cost-effective fashion.
