Solution: Our client installed and networked four model R110Xiâ"žÂ¢ printer/encoders from Zebra Technologies to produce RFID smart labels for outbound shipments.

The printer/encoders receive print commands from RFID software, which interface with the client's order management and warehouse management systems. Labels are outputted according to individual customer needs (text, bar code, and/or RFID formats). The R110Xi automatically checks to ensure each RFID smart label is properly encoded before releasing the finished label for application.

Results: Our system has proven that high volume and high reliability can go together within an RFID smart labeling system. The printer/encoders from Zebra Technologies have spread to multiple high-volume product lines within our client's supply chain.
