The lightweight device was designed to survive heavy use in challenging environments. It features a 10.1-inch-wide touchscreen which supports both handheld and vehicle-mounted use, along with input/output ports for connecting to multiple peripherals. The unit ships with a Windows embedded Standard 7 operating system. It weighs less than three pounds and is less than an inch thick. Sealed to IP65 specifications, the rugged tablet is certified to withstand a six-foot drop. It includes a 1D/2D barcode scanner and standard dual autofocus cameras. The MT1010 is equipped with GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer and compass, and runs on an Intel N2600 dual core 1.6GHz processor.
