Coscon, "K" Line and Yang Mine Line (known collectively as CKY) have entered into a cooperative arrangement with Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC), allowing for the introduction of a new service between the Mediterranean and U.S. East Coast. Dubbed TAS-6, the service will replace the existing TAS-3 offering, which is jointly operated by four CKY vessels, each of 1,700 twenty-foot equivalent units. The revamped partnership will allow CKY to maintain a high quality of service in the trans-Atlantic market, together with other service loops provided by the carriers, the participants said. The port rotation of TAS-6 will be Valencia, Naples, La Spezia, New York, Norfolk, Charleston and back to Valencia. The arrangement is subject to approval by all applicable regulatory bodies, the lines said.
