TransGroup, a provider of various logistics services, has opened a new office in Norfolk, Va., concurrent with the launching of operations there under the name TransGroup-ORF. The operating side of the new venture is managed by Brian England, with Dominic Carter overseeing regional sales. The Norfolk station provides domestic and international transportation, warehousing, distribution and local cartage. TransGroup's services include domestic and international freight forwarding, non-vessel operating common carriage and licensed customs broker operations. TransGroup is headquartered in Seattle, with more than 40 logistics centers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
