The agreement also includes a manufacturing and services agreement for Android and other mobile devices. The companies expect to complete closing activities by the first half of 2013, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. Financial terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.

The portfolio of Motorola Mobility, owned by Google, includes converged mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets; wireless accessories; end-to-end video and data delivery; and management solutions, including set-tops and data-access devices.
