The G6 Alliance said it will deploy more than 50 ships in the transpacific trade serving nearly 30 ports in Asia, the North American East Coast, Canada, Central America, the Caribbean, Indian subcontinent, Mediterranean and the Middle East. Its members are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line.
