They showed estimated savings that the client and their vendors will have from the reduced number of containers resulting from better consolidation options. The team was also able to show how enhanced visibility and optimized origin management will benefit both suppliers and Client.

Results: Estimated USD 2.3 million is identified through supply chain optimization by having greater efficiency at origin operations and a more integrated end to end supply chain. Cost reductions include optimization related to better container utilization, switch between CFS and CY loading, and equipment utilization.
