The solution named ORTEC Pallet and Load Building is embedded not integrated into SAP. ORTEC optimized all demand types globally using complex optimization modeling methods. The optimization was applied to VMI, sales order, consolidated orders, web orders, interplant and internal cross-dock replenishments.
Results: Many major innovations for the customer include: viral expansion of a common global solution embedded in SAP ERP; load utilization savings up to 15%; web order taking with 3D graphics load building enabling fully optimized truckload orders.
