The additions will form part of the airline's 15-plane fleet, made up of four MD11s, two B747-8Fs, seven B747-400s and two B747-200s. Twelve of the aircraft will be used for Saudia's scheduled services to 27 freighter destinations worldwide, while its charter business will deploy three dedicated B747 freighters. In addition to its fleet of 15 freighters, Saudi Airlines Cargo sells belly capacity on 145 passenger aircraft for Saudi Arabia's flag carrier Saudia, serving a global network of 225 destinations.
