Thirteen of the European Global Trade Services sites operated by JPMorgan Chase have received quality certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The company's operations in Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland and Spain have been found to be in compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard for customer service, regulatory compliance and continuous performance improvement. The ISO certification process involves a rigorous review of business processes, documents, work practices, data and records by an independent third-party auditor. JPMorgan Chase has now received ISO certification for 21 logistics operations, including those in Southfield, Mich.; Ontario, Canada and six locations in Mexico. Services provided by the sites include outsourcing of trade and business-process management, covering such tasks as import and export compliance management, restricted party screening and resolution, trade document preparation and management, trade-management consulting and associated technology.
