The carrier now offers five weekly scheduled freighter flights into Nairobi, with enhanced interline partnerships. As a result, it is providing access to 23 additional destinations in eastern, central and southern Africa, as well as the Horn of Africa and Indian Ocean islands. Nairobi is a major export station for Saudia Cargo, the carrier said, generating total export capacity of more than 400 tons per week. Saudia Cargo serves six other freighter destinations in Africa: Addis Ababa, Johannesburg, Kano, Khartoum, Lagos and N'Djamena. It also provides supplementary belly capacity on major routes to African destinations. Saudi Airlines Cargo operates 15 freighters and sells belly capacity on 145 passenger aircraft for Saudi Arabia's flag carrier Saudia, serving 225 destinations around the world.
