Offering a 25-day transit, the service complements the company's existing direct export service from Houston to Santos. It also marks the continued expansion of a north-south service network by CaroTrans and Craft Multimodal, its NVO partner in South America. In 2012, CaroTrans added Argentina and Uruguay to its South American network in tandem with Craft. Also that year, it added a direct LCL export service from Miami, Fla. to Itajai, Brazil. CaroTrans has 14 local offices and 23 container freight stations throughout North America, providing consolidation and deconsolidation services.
