The first three destinations of the new aircraft will be Atlanta, Chicago and New York. The list price of the Boeing 777F is $270m. The plane can remain in the air for ten and a half hours, flying nonstop for more than 9,000 kilometers, and features a payload of 103 tons. The 777 is a key aspect of Lufthansa Cargo's goal to lower specific emissions by 25 percent until 2020, said Karl-Rudolf Rupprecht, board member for operations. Lufthansa Cargo has a total of six improvement projects in its program for 2020.
