The update provides enhanced coverage with increased capacity from 35 to 70 sites. It also supports more radio models and provides additional capabilities supported by the Motorola NX Integrated Services Platform. The system is based on the DMR Tier II standard. Also available on Connect Plus is Mototrbo Anywhere, which allows workers to communicate with Mototrbo radio users from their mobile broadband devices. In addition, Motorola has introduced the MC67 unit. It features dual wireless wide-area network (WAN) connectivity, supporting access to wireless carriers with more options for manufacturers. The new model is compatible with all existing MC65 and MC67 accessories for field service, route accounting and direct store delivery.
