The facility is being managed by International Supply Chain (ISC), a specialist logistics unit of DHL Global Forwarding, and DHL Supply Chain, the contract-logistics arm of Deutsche Post DHL. Covering 160,000 square feet, the operation is located within the Tanjung Pelepas Free Trade Zone, in the Iskandar region of Southern Malaysia. It is ISC's fifth regional hub in Asia, joining facilities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Located just 15 kilometers from the Tuas border in Singapore, the Malaysia facility is well-suited for the importation and distribution of products throughout Singapore and Malaysia, DHL said.
