Schenker of Canada plans to significantly increase its air cargo capabilities and services across the country this month. Among the highlights of new Air Fleet Network services to be offered are earlier arrivals and later departures in each city currently being serviced, and the addition of a dedicated aircraft for the Schenker hub in Vancouver, British Columbia. The improvements affect services to and from the U.S. and within Canada.
"Our enhanced service is a major step forward for our airfreight business," says Claude Germain, chief operating officer at Schenker of Canada. "It gives our customers preferred access to an overnight fleet and complete coast-to-coast capabilities while providing Vancouver with enhanced, reliable air services."
Schenker says it is the second-largest integrated logistics service provider in Canada, operating from over 40 sites across the country.
