The company makes hologram security products for government and the private sector. It consists of two units, Holoptica LLC and Segment Security LLC, both based in California's Silicon Valley. Holoptica also partners with two sister companies, Brand Integrity International and DNA Technologies in Australia. Products include laser kinemax and e-beam holographic foils, laminates, holographic micro-particles, DNA-based security items and other tools for protecting brands against counterfeiting. The company said it intends to complete new premises in South Africa early in 2014, and commence a joint manufacturing operation with Holomatrix, a long-standing partner.
