The new application, available in late June, allows discrete engineering and manufacturing companies to identify and resolve product-quality problems. Quality processes are directly connected to the product record in Arena PLM, which provides visibility into quality issues. Users can create and customize templates that support quality processes. They can assign work, collaborate and view progress toward final resolution. And they can use electronic signatures for complying with regulations. Arena Quality captures a complete history of quality processes, down to field-level edits, for auditing purposes, the company said.
