Syspro has developed Syspro CyberScan, browser-based software which integrates with the vendor's enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. CyberScan is designed to run on PDA barcode scanners, but can also operate on a PDA, desktop PC, laptop computer or cell phone. No software installation is required, the company said. The tool utilizes inherent built-in security features developed by Syspro. It can process transactions with or without scanning equipment. With access to entry fields and buttons, operators can simply key in the data. Syspro claims to service some 12,000 licensed companies in more than 60 countries. Its products are marketed globally through regional distribution centers in South Africa, the U.S., Canada, Asia Pacific, Australia and the United Kingdom.
