These days under the Woodland Media banner, it continues the tradition globally and the company has now opened a new office in Hong Kong, boosting its services to publishers active in the Chinese market.
The new Hong Kong operation, which officially opened earlier this month, has been established with the support of Woodland's long-term agency partner IFB International Freightbridge Ltd.
Chinese logistics veteran Sabrina Auyeung, for 33 years the managing director of Activair (Hong Kong), has been appointed director of Woodland Media (Hong Kong) Limited. "Despite the rise of electronic devices, the demand for English language books, magazines and printed matter in China is as strong as ever,” she said. “Opening a dedicated Woodland Media office in Hong Kong is an exciting opportunity and I am delighted to be joining the team."
