In 2005, DB Schenker in Portugal was nominated as the responsible organization for all shipments to and from Angola, on a global level. In 2013, DB Schenker and Bochimar handled over 3,400 containers of ocean freight and over 1,100 tons in airfreight.
Philippe Gilbert, director of region Europe West, DB Schenker Logistics, also responsible for countries in Western , said that "This process will fortify our presence in Angola and will guarantee innovative and cost-efficient transport and logistics solutions from one source.”
