The company said it has spent the last five years converting the entire back end of its software to the Microsoft .NET framework. The new mobile app serves as a thin front-end layer, utilizing the business rules written in Deacom ERP to pull data directly from the main system. It provides real-time visibility, full reporting and drill-down capabilities, and can make modifications on the fly. All data in the system, including sales, purchasing, inventory, production and quality control, is now available to mobile devices.
