The application communicates with a network appliance via a wireless network and is configured through a local Web browser to connect with, monitor and control vision-guided AGVs within a facility. Seegrid Supervisor consists of three components: Fleet Status, Intersection Manager and Switchboard. The AGV software provides real-time visibility, control and automation of fleets, the vendor said. The system allows for integration with external control devices such as programmable logic controllers, or existing software such as warehouse management systems and manufacturing execution systems. The application issues vehicle notifications, creates rules and command configurations, and tracks and dispatches AGVs for material transport.
