Four logistics service providers--Artisan Associates, Artisan Container Services, National Logistics Management and NLM Supply Chain Solutions--have combined to form a single company, NLM. The new Detroit-based entity will act as a fully integrated logistics provider of transportation, on-site management and software applications. Targeted industries include aerospace, automotive, chemical and oil, construction, healthcare, pharmaceutical, retail, technology and utilities. The resources of the four units have been standardized to offer more a tightly coordinated and comprehensive service, according to NLM president Greg Humes. NLM's menus of offerings include OnGuard Critical, OnPoint Dynamic, OnTrak Solutions and OnLine Services. Individual services range from airfreight and ground expedited to inventory control and process compliance.
