Technology Group International (TGI), a vendor of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to small and mid-market manufacturers and distributors, has announced the general availability of Enterprise 21, version 6.6. The update features enhancements in a variety of areas, include the user interface, Explorer menu options, screen design, self-implementing software, electronic data interchange processing, job control, core processing, forecasting and long lead-time planning, matching and paying of accounts receivable and payable, multi-currency processing and integrated financial report writer. The improvements allow for increased flexibility in forecasting, make-to-order processing, labor reporting and machine maintenance scheduling, the vendor said. Accounting highlights include improvements in credit card processing and receivables posting. The newest release of Enterprise 21 and the ITS source code are available to all maintenance customers as part of TGI's standard support agreement.
