Opened in early autumn, the warehouse covers 172,448 square feet and will provide logistics services for the consumer goods industry. Other customers include companies in the automotive, cosmetics, wine and apparel sectors. Guangzhou is a hub for regional logistics, Yusen noted. The company’s new warehouse is located nine miles from the seaport and 25 miles from the airport. Yusen has consolidated two warehouses in the area into one facility, providing a combined capacity of 206,354 square feet of space in the region. Services at the new location include sorting, labeling, packing and inspection.
