The 16,000 square-foot hub resides within the company’s existing 200,000 square-foot facility. It offers a broad range of contract logistics and transportation services, including configuration, staging, equipment installation, diagnostics, triage and repair. The hub is SCI’s second white-glove facility to open in Alberta this year. It increases the company’s direct coverage from its own transportation centers to 75 percent of Canada, with the remainder of the country serviced by agents, according to Sean Watson, vice president of transportation.
