The technology is aimed at multiple industries, including third-party logistics, food and beverage, retail and healthcare. The purchase price of the acquisition was approximately $29.7m. Descartes offers applications for various aspects of transportation management, including routing, scheduling, tracking and measuring delivery resources, planning and executing shipments, auditing and payment of transportation invoices, and global trade management.
