Accellos, Inc. has developed Accellos One Warehouse-Collect, entry-level warehouse-management software. The streamlined tool is aimed at warehouse operators migrating away from paper-based processes and toward automated data collection and warehouse management using Web-based technology. The suite is composed of five products: Collect, Fulfill, Automate, Integrate and Extend. Collect enables customers to transition easily from paper to automated processes, the vendor said. Key features include a browser-based operation, interactive Web forms, host integration, picking, receiving, cycle and inventory counting, stock locator, miscellaneous adjustments, lot and serial-number tracking, order allocation, wave planning, simple warehouse transfers, support for multiple warehouses, support for shipping systems from UPS, FedEx and DHL, and management reporting. Accellos' products are built on the Microsoft .NET platform, and employ an SQL database and search engine. General availability of Warehouse-Collect is scheduled for December; the beta version is available immediately.
