The new service improves transit time between Mauritania and Senegal by eight days, with previous transshipment links being replaced by direct ones. CMA CGM has also introduced a direct call, from Northwest Africa and to Morocco, in Las Palmas, while enhancing its refrigerated container service in Mouadhibou, Mauritania to allow for fish exports into intra African and worldwide markets. The weekly service, complementary to the 6 EURAF offering serving West Africa and Europe, will deploy three vessels of 1,100 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) on the rotation of Casablanca, Algeciras, Tangiers, Nouakchott, Dakar, Las Palmas and back to Casablanca.
