With a transit time of 11 days, the service is a direct sailing, with door-to-door delivery also available. Further direct weekly services will be added from Antwerp throughout 2015, transforming the location into a key hub within CEVA's LCL and ocean freight network. In another company announcement, CEVA has created TireCity, a multi-user hub in Italy that is dedicated to the tire sector. Locating in Somaglia, in the province of Lodi, the facility covers 50,000 square meters and offers warehousing, product handling and cross-docking. TireCity is CEVA's fourth sector-specific hub to open in Italy, joining the company's City of Books, City of Pharma and TechCity, which are dedicated, respectively, to the publishing, healthcare and electronics sectors.
