The site houses the company's business operations as well as a large portion of its warehousing and trailer transportation services. The work will include the addition of 54,276 square feet of warehouse space, bringing the total property to approximately 200,000 square feet. The expanded facility will accommodate an additional 3,000 pallet positions and house a fleet of more than 150 trailers. The building will feature energy-efficient motion-sensor lighting and video surveillance, the company said. King operates a less-than-trailerload and partial-load consolidation program within the corporate location.
