The Falcon GXT3100C is built upon the Falcon series GXT3000, a custom-built, cellular product which provides operations management with real-time data on fleet operations. The new tool consists of the GXT3100 mobile terminal with remote antenna, the SkyBitz Cargo Sensor, and a proprietary mounting bracket. According to the vendor, the all-in-one configuration simplifies the installation process and exposes only a small antenna to the outside of the trailer. SkyBitz is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telular Corp., a provider of global remote asset-management technology. It provides products through SkyBitz InSight, a secure, Web-based application that requires no software downloads.
