FourKites offers a cross-platform tracking service that aggregates data from major fleet-technology providers such as Omnitracs and PeopleNet. CarrierLink is free for brokers to track up to 2,500 truckloads a month. Beyond that level, per-load charges apply. FourKites' aggregated ELD/GPS data service is not included in the free CarrierLink initiative. Freight brokers can sign up through the FourKites website, upon which the company notifies drivers of load assignments, and begins tracking every 15 minutes until the load is delivered. Initially, CarrierLink is available for Android smartphones only, with an app for Apple iPhones in the works.
