The operation, covering 1,200 square meters, represents the official launch of the company's GDP-compliant global pharmaceuticals airfreight services. It links Yusen Logistics' Antwerp, Belgium import and export consolidation center and European central warehouse with Schiphol air operations. Activities are managed from a single control tower, staffed by a U.K.-based international team linked to Yusen Logistics offices around the world. The service links up with more than 50,000 delivery points in Europe alone, said the company, which is currently making some 20,000 deliveries per week across 36 countries.
