Designed for the iPhone 6 and 6s, the product works with smartphones and all of Scandit’s mobile scanning applications. Its software was engineered to provide scanning even in challenging environments, compensating for glare, motion and extreme angles. It draws on the iPhone's built-in LED and camera for illumination, aiming and image capture, without introducing additional electrical components. According to the vendor, the case combines the versatility of software-based mobile scanning with the ergonomics and reliability of a traditional scanner. The Scandit Case is available for pre-order and will ship in the first quarter of 2016. Scandit has more than 20,000 licenses in some 100 countries.
