Ozburn-Hessey Logistics has opened a new international services station within its facilities in Atlanta, Ga. The operation will offer a full range of logistics services, including customs brokerage and freight forwarding via air and ocean, worldwide and door to door. OH Logistics considers the move "a key milestone" in its efforts to establish an Atlanta hub for its international operations. "We already have an excellent facility in the Atlanta area, and now we've given it true international capabilities," said Larry Antonucci, president of the Americas for Barthco International, a division of OH Logistics. The international services station is located minutes away from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. It is housed within the company's existing, 75,000-square-foot facility. The location features freezer and cooler capacities, pick-and-pack operations, and less-than-truckload reefer and dry distribution. OH Logistics recently opened another international services station in Dallas, TX, and has announced plans for a new facility in Mississauga, Ont.
