Solution: ScottTech installed 4 carousel systems (uncoupled), our flagship software product, PickPro, light trees and sort bars. These products allowed our customer to break the pods up in any configuration they needed and could have multiple pickers (up to 4) working within one pod.
Results: Our customer was able to increase throughput by 50-60% during the peak period. The color-coded picking displays along with the color-coded task complete buttons allowed multiple pickers to work within one pod resulting in overall increased order accuracy and efficiency.
